My first zine

Émergence explores the transitional spaces of the contemporary city: quays, passageways, infrastructure—places often passed through without being noticed.

I have always preferred to hold my images in my hands, to see them breathe on fine paper. A few prints are resting somewhere, but for years this idea has followed me: to finally carry an editorial project through to completion—a book, a zine, a tangible trace.

If I speak of “seeing it through,” it’s because so many attempts were left unfinished. Whenever I talked about it, people would say it wasn’t the right time. There was the fear of failure, new ideas overshadowing old ones, and all those quiet hesitations that eventually lead you off course.

This time, it’s done. I’m holding this first zine in my hands. The fear of failure is still there—subtle, persistent. But it doesn’t matter. I saw it through.
